Immediate opening: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Goodhue County, Minnesota. Day-to-day duties: • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
