Argon welder wanted in Miner County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Miner County, South Dakota. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Full-time, day shift.
