Join our team: we are hiring a hand presser in Mercer County, North Dakota. You will be based in a garment export house. On a typical shift you will meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Rotating shifts.
