Sample machinist wanted in Granite County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sample machinist in Granite County, Montana. Day to day you will meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience.
