Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar installer in San Bernardino County, California. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules You will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings.
