Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Grant Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces The role involves: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits.
