Shuttering and concrete hand — Tallapoosa County

Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet 6+ years on the tools preferred.
