We are recruiting: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Monroe County, Arkansas. On the job you will handle: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
