Immediate opening: wet plasterer (California)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a wet plasterer in Mariposa County, California. What we are looking for: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • CSCS card or willing to obtain one The role involves: • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
