Lift installation engineer • Sitka City and Borough, Alaska

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Sitka City and Borough, Alaska. You will be based on a lift modernisation project. On a typical shift you will carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. What we are looking for: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
