Sand plant operator • Daniels County, Montana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Daniels County, Montana. You will be based on the moulding line. Day-to-day duties: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
