We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Clinton County, Iowa. You will work at an infrastructure site. You should have: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods The role involves fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls.
