Tig welder • Goronyo, Sokoto State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tig welder in Goronyo, Sokoto State. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day to day you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
