Quality assurance assistant wanted in York County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in York County, Maine. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. You should have: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor Your main tasks: • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience.
