Restoration bricklayer • Gudu, Sokoto State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Gudu, Sokoto State. You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently The role involves bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel.
