Join our team: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Lawrence County, Alabama. The job is on a road and bridge project. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods On a typical shift you will discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls.
