Semi-automatic welder wanted in Sussex County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Sussex County, Delaware. You will work at a busy production line. On the job you will handle: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration What we are looking for: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
