Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Fall River County, South Dakota. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements The role involves cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length.
