Join our team: we are hiring a metal caster in DuPage County, Illinois. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. The role involves fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
