Join our team: we are hiring a confectioner in Perquimans County, North Carolina. You will be based at a neighbourhood confectionery. You should have: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Food handler / hygiene certificate Day to day you will score the top of loaves before baking; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
