We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Washington County, Minnesota. Day-to-day duties: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Full-time, day shift.
