Immediate opening: we are hiring an excavator operator in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The job is in an open-cast quarry. On a typical shift you will strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels. What we are looking for: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
