Incoming goods inspector • Chilton County, Alabama

Now hiring: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Chilton County, Alabama. The job is at a food processing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Requirements: • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection Full-time, day shift. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
