Scaffolding supervisor — Washtenaw County

Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolding supervisor in Washtenaw County, Michigan. The job is at a commercial fit-out project. Requirements: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice Day to day you will fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
