Now hiring: we are hiring a floor and wall tile fitter in Cumberland County, Illinois. The job is on a new-build housing development. You should have: • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites Your main tasks: • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away 4+ years on the tools preferred.
