Foundry labourer • Silame, Sokoto State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Silame, Sokoto State. The job is on the moulding line. On a typical shift you will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. ₦1,700 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
