Metal caster — Green County

Join our team: we are hiring a metal caster in Green County, Wisconsin. On a typical shift you will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
