Lifting rigger wanted in Shanga

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Shanga, Kebbi State. You will work at a shipyard. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Day to day you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. ₦110,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
