We are recruiting: we are hiring an electrical technician in Crenshaw County, Alabama. You will be based in a factory maintenance department. Day to day you will check earth continuity and earth pit resistance; test insulation resistance with a megger; isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working; wire single-phase and three-phase distribution boards; measure voltage, current and load with a multimeter and clamp meter; dress and terminate wiring inside control panels. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Willing to do shift work and breakdown call-outs • Familiar with megger, multimeter and clamp meter At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
