Finishing plasterer — Falkirk

Vacancy available: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Falkirk, Scotland. You will be based on a commercial fit-out project. What we are looking for: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents The role involves: • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around £2,750 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Share your details and we will call you back.
