Now hiring: chiller technician (Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a chiller technician in James City County, Virginia. You will be based in a commercial cold storage facility. Day-to-day duties: • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Full-time, day shift.
