Groundworker • Yenegoa, Bayelsa State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundworker in Yenegoa, Bayelsa State. The job is on a road and bridge project. The role involves set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns. What we are looking for: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain Full-time with occasional weekends.
