Join our team: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Santa Fe County, New Mexico. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Day-to-day duties: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
