Vacancy available: refrigeration and AC mechanic (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Bastrop County, Texas. The job is at a food processing plant. You should have: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms The role involves check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience.
