Fabricator-welder wanted in Fika

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Fika, Yobe State. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances The role involves: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator Full-time, day shift. We offer ₦7,000 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
