Rebar fixer • Ifelodun, Osun State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Ifelodun, Osun State. You will work on a busy residential building site. On a typical shift you will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
