Concrete labourer — Skagit County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Skagit County, Washington. You will be based on a road and bridge project. On the job you will handle: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
