Immediate opening: vehicle spray painter (Illinois)

Join our team: we are hiring a vehicle spray painter in Stark County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Able to read and match factory paint codes The role involves: • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
