Domestic gas engineer — Numan

Immediate opening: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Numan, Adamawa State. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing 2+ years on the tools preferred.
