Tyre technician • Nassau County, New York

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tyre technician in Nassau County, New York. You will work in a commercial truck tyre depot. On the job you will handle: • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench What we are looking for: • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Awareness of workshop health and safety • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
