Now hiring: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Tippah County, Mississippi. Requirements: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Day-to-day duties: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches Part-time with flexible hours.
