Offshore rigger — Abeokuta South

Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Abeokuta South, Ogun State. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. The role involves select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
