Reinforcement steel fixer — Wood County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Wood County, Texas. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Your main tasks: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $220 per day, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
