Garment machinist — Escambia County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment machinist in Escambia County, Florida. On a typical shift you will keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Full-time with occasional weekends.
