Oven operator — Hoonah-Angoon Census Area

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an oven operator in Hoonah-Angoon Census Area, Alaska. The job is at a cake shop. The role involves prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials. Requirements: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours.
