Industrial sewing operator — Hertfordshire

Join our team: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Hertfordshire, England. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. Your main tasks: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
