Crane rigger • Sumter County, South Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Sumter County, South Carolina. You will work at a shipyard. The role involves: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
