Render and set plasterer • Jones County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Jones County, Texas. On a typical shift you will check walls for plumb and level as you go; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency. Requirements: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
