Great opportunity: ladle pourer (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a ladle pourer in City of Bristol, England. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. Your main tasks: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Pay around £2,350 per month, based on your experience.
