Immediate opening: brick and block layer (Cross River State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Obudu, Cross River State. You will work at a renovation and extension job. Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks The role involves setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
